Story and art by Harold Gray. A shoe-store promotion featuring a shortened version of Four Color (1942 Series 2) #18, which in turn reprinted Little Orphan Annie newspaper strips from 1942. Annie organizes local kids into "Junior Commando" units to do wartime homefront work, like collecting scrap metal and selling war bonds. These comics inspired real-life Junior Commando salvage drives by children during World War II. 16 pages, Full Color.
