Comic book version of the Disney adventure cartoon series which originally aired from the late 1980s to the early 1990s and featured Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Launchpad and others. In this issue, Huey, Louie and Dewey make a fake treasure map to lead Uncle Scrooge to a magical spring in the Duckburg Mountains in "The Fountain of Laughs," an adaptation of one of the Duck Tales TV series episodes. Script by Frank Ridgeway & Byron Erickson and art by the Jamie Diaz Studios. Issue also has a reprint of the Uncle Scrooge classic tale "Two-Way Luck" with script and art by Carl Barks, part 2 of a Duck Tales episode guide, "Seeing the Blight" with script and art by William Van Horn and a one-page Uncle Scrooge gag strip. Cover price $0.95.

In this issue, Scrooge and company go out on a cruise on his new yacht and discover that the Beagle Boys are stealing oil from offshore oil rigs in "The Oil Pirates." Script by Frank Ridgeway & Gary Leach and art by the Jamie Diaz Studios. Issue also has a reprint of the Uncle Scrooge classic tale "Billions in the Hole" in which the Beagle Boys' attempt to use a shrinking ray to steal Scrooge's money bin turns into a disaster for all. Script and art by Carl Barks. And then one of the most prized exhibits in the Air and Space Museum has been stolen. But the Junior Woodchucks are on the case and determined to find the thief in "The Phantom Barnstormer." Script by Vic Lockman & Byron Erickson and art by the Jamie Diaz Studios.
