Welcome to the 23rd century, where life is perfect. There's just one catch. At birth everyone is implanted with a life jewel in their palm. When they reach the age of thirty, the jewel informs them they must report for termination. Not everyone accepts this however. Some choose to run. That's where Logan comes in. Logan is a Sandman, charged with terminating those who do not submit willingly. Everything changes when Logan meets Jessica and learns the secret of the Ankh she wears. This leads him to be assigned to find Sanctuary, the destination of all runners. To accomplish this task, he must become a runner himself. 32 pages. Full color. Cover price $0.30.

Logan tracks down Jessica and asks to learn the secrets of Sanctuary. Jessica's associates however, don't believe Logan is sincere. So when Logan is called to track a runner, Jessica accompanies him and convinces him to let the runner live. A decision that will come back to haunt them both. 32 pages. Full color. Attempting to change his facial features, Logan runs afoul of a Sanctuary agent. His escape finally leads him and Jessica to the hideout of the Sanctuary group. When Sandmen stage an assault they must flee, hopefully to Sanctuary itself. 32 pages. Full color. Cover price $0.30.

The tentacles of the city seek to ensnare Logan and Jessica again as they meet Box. Charged with recycling plants to feed the city, when they ran out he switched to using runners who were trying to reach Sanctuary. Escaping, they finally arrive at the ruins of Washington D.C. and meet something neither of them have seen before. An old man. Unfortunately, Logan's old partner chooses this moment to catch up with them. 32 pages. Full color. Cover price $0.30.

In a society fraying at the seams, a band of young savages take Jessica hostage and force Logan into battle with their leader. The outcome may be academic however, as some factions still hold Logan responsible for the destruction of the city. Last issue of the series, leaving the story unfinished. 32 pages. Full color.
