Stories and art by Dave Sim and Gerhard. In 1992, as Dave Sim's Cerebus was gaining fame and acclaim, he created this free primer as an introduction for new readers. In a conversational style, Sim recaps the major events in the story so far, covering the material in the collections Cerebus, High Society, and Church & State (the first third of the 300-issue saga). Illustrations introduce Cerebus' supporting cast, including Lord Julius, the Cockroach, Jaka, Red Sophia and the Regency Elf. It's an early glimpse into Sim's one-of-a-kind comics epic. 32 pages, B&W.
