Volume 1 - 1st printing. Written by John R. Sansevere and Carol Q. Sansevere. Art by William Rieser. She didn't know what love would cost…It all started with a $50,000 fur coat. Lana thought it was a gift, but there were strings attached – and they led straight to a man who wouldn't take no for an answer. Enter Carla, Jackie, and Amber. Together with Lana, they are the Pink Flamingos…new kinds of heroes…'80s girls who face growing up in a hard-edged, cynical world with their eyes wide open and their hearts brave enough to love. The Pink Flamingos confront the dark side lurking beneath the elegant surface of Palm Beach, and the costs are high…in love…and danger. Watch them blow the lid on a million-dollar scam, and bring down a vicelord in BRING DOWN THE NIGHT. Softcover, 8 ½-in. x 11-in., 64 pages, full color. Cover price $6.95.
