    Volume 1, No. 9. January 1962. Cartoon Parade is a mature humor digest magazine aimed at men that featured mostly single page cartoon gags and photo Pin-Ups of pretty women (no nudity). This issue features a 6-page comic strip "Supersonic Sammy in Big Cheese of the Milky Way" penciled by Basil Wolverton. A number of cartoons are drawn by Bill Ward, plus one by Dan DeCarlo and one by Jack Cole (under alias "Jake"). Softcover Digest, 5 1/2-in. x 7-in., 98 Pages, B&W. Cover price $0.35.
