All True Detective Cases (1954) comic books
First issue in the series. "Pretty Boy Floyd" (pencils by Marcus, inks by Rocke Mastroserio), "Frankie Yale," Jack 'Legs' Diamond in "The Devil's Disciple," Lucky Dale in "The River Pirates." Overstreet lists this as having Wally Wood art, though none of the art looks like it. If he did indeed work on this issue, it's most likely on the last story or on the cover. Cover price $0.10.
Everett Kinstler cover. "Dillinger," "Machine-Gun Kelly," and "Waxie Gordon." Also includes "The Mystery of Suite No. 13," which is a reprint from Famous Gangsters (1951) #2, itself a reprint from Saint (1947 Avon) #7. In Famous Gangsters #2, the name of the detective hero was changed from the Saint to Mike Strong (it remains Mike Strong in this issue as well). Two page text story, "One Fatal Mistake!" Cover price $0.10.
