"I Was a Fugitive from Love" with art by Bob Powell - Pat and Greg are engaged, but Pat's sister Pauline says Greg has 'been turned down by every girl in town!" (including Pauline) When Greg refuses to "explain" his past, Pat breaks their engagement and leaves town, moving in with college friend Ellen and getting a job as a stenographer. Pat goes home to give Greg another chance, but Pauline tricks her into thinking she's Gregs new sweetheart. Ellen throws a party and invites Greg, who explains Pauline's deception, and he and Pat are reconciled. "Cinderella Can Also Cry" - Donna grew up poor, but her family suddenly inherited a fortune. She falls in love with wealthy Roger, only to learn his father's bank is about to go broke and they're counting on Donna's money to save it. Donna leaves town for an "inexpensive resort," where she hides her economic status. Donna falls in love with Milt, but mistakenly thinks he's also a fortune hunter. Milt explains that he's rich, and hid his wealth to discourage women gold-diggers. Since they're financially compatible, Donna and Milt can wed. "Blind Love" with pencils by Joe Kubert - Newspaper columnist Joyce pities her childhood friend Dora, now movie star Dorine, because "she had lost any knowledge or feeling of romance in the false tinsel of her life!" To spite Joyce and also get good publicity for her movies, Dorine vows to make blind war hero Ronald fall in love with her. "The Man for Me!" with art by Jay Scott Pike - As a receptionist at a local health club, Linda sees many athletes and actors and even dates many of them. But she finds herself attracted to the least handsome fellow at the club. The other girls tell her that she is just trying to prove that looks aren't important, but is really seeing him more out of sympathy than love. "The Moon and You" with art by Fred Kida - Martha and her cousin Doris had been brought up together after Doris' parents died when she was three. Doris was back from New York where she worked as a model in cosmetic ads. She gives Martha advice on falling for a rich man like the author she just met instead of the illustrator she had been seeing previously. Martha thinks she's found real love with the author until she goes for a walk and sees him kissing Doris. "Here in His Arms" with art by Doug Wildey - Jerry and Pam met in their junior year at Claymore and fell in love. But Pam's father breaks the news that his business reverses have been severe and he won't be able to meet her expenses for her last year. Pam decides to apply for a scholarship and has three weeks to prepare for the exams. She isn't worried about the snobs, but had doubts about Jerry's reaction to the news. "...But Will He Propose?" with art by Vince Colletta - Mary was a waitress in a college town. She never had a dateless evening, but never felt love for any of the guys she went out with. Her roommate warns her that the boys there aren't serious about a working girl and will only marry college girls.
