Cover by Howard Nostrand. Stories and art by Joe Certa, Bob Powell, Howard Nostrand, and Rudy Palais. Numbering continues from Tomb of Terror (1952) #16. As the social tide turns against horror comics, Harvey renames Tomb of Terror to this less-horrific title, but continues with grisly stories reprinted from Witches' Tales. In one of the most egregious examples, a cruel Caribbean governor executes criminals by having them eaten alive by crabs. A couple purchases a grotesque statue in a curio shop that curses them to destroy each other. A men's club doesn't expect the Devil himself to show up at their weekly seance. League of the Damned; Ghost Doctor; Curse of the Statue; Six Chances to Die; The Blood Plant; Invitation to Doom; Screaming City. 36 pages, full color. Cover price $0.10.
