Blackthorne Publishing presents a series of comic-strip reprints featuring the Bumstead family. Conceived as a flapper girl in 1930, Blondie was still going strong in 1984, the period of this collection, by which time she had a home and family, and the strip was being written by the son of creator Chic Young.  Dagwoods boss is a tyrant, and  his job is thankless, but luckily, he has sensible wife Blondie and his famous love of absurdly huge sandwiches.
