    The Shadow was arguably the most popular superhero of the pulps and the radio dramas only strengthened his position. Airing from 1937 to 1954, the signature line "Who Knows What Evil Lurks in the Hearts of Men?" is known to all of a certain age. This Biograph record features two broadcasts from 1947. "The House that Death Built" has Lamont and Margo stranded in a deserted house with four people searching for a fortune, but find only death and a living ghost.
