Back cover is reprint of a cover from the Australian comic Captain Justice "Let's Talk It Over!" column and "From Our Readers..." letters are typeset. This issue does not have any note regarding the press run of this issue. "From Our Readers..." features letters by Fred Hembeck, Richard Kyle, Greg Kishel, Bill Spicer, and George Metzger. Issue also features a column called "Bidgee" by John Ryan which tells of comic related news from Australia and a feature, photos, and art of Australian artist Monty Wedd. Issue also has a full page advertisement for the Southwestern Con 1968, a comic convention held in Dallas, Texas. Stories:Powerman in "War of the Weaponer!" Color cover by Richard "Grass" Green features Xal-Kor the Human Cat. Back cover by Alan Weiss is of Dr. Weird. "Let's Talk It Over!" column features letters from Charles Schreck, Larry Bigman, Carl Gafford, Robert Bloch, Harry Warner Jr., David Brown, Al Kuhfeld, William Taylor Jr., Richard "Grass" Green, Ron Lightburn, Jon Jensen, George R.R. Martin, and Ronn Foss. There is also a note from Glenn Lord, the agent for the Robert E. Howard estate at that time, which explains the history of the Howard story "Gods of the North" (aka "The Frost Giant's Daughter"), which was adapted into comic book form in the previous issue. Stories: "Xal-Kor the Human Cat vs. The Glow Worm," (script by Richard "Grass" Green, art by Green and Landon Chesney); "King of the Hill" (script and art by Steve Kelez) - Note: This story was uncredited. In the next issue, it was revealed that Steve Kelez did the story and art. Many readers mistakenly believed that Buddy Saunders did this story. Also features Dr. Weird in "Death in the Skull-World!"     Star Studded 16 - November 1969 This is the first issue titled just "Star Studded" - no "Comics" in the title. Format: Offset/Lithograph process Wrap-around binding with staples in center. Original price was 75 cents Color front cover by Howard Keltner features Dr. Weird and back cover is by Jim Sullivan "Let's Talk It Over!" column announces that Star-Studded Comics has a new publisher, Joe Bob Williams. Says that the Texas Trio are still the editors but Williams will handle all of the "paper work." Letters from Peter Jaksa, Don Ensign, Charles Schreck, Richard "Grass" Green, Ronn Foss, Jon Wilmunen, and Richard Kyle. Issue also features John Ryan's "Bidgee" column which tells of comic related news from Australia. This column also appeared in issues 11 and 13. In this issue, "Bidgee" tells about artist Stanley Pitt and reprints three pages of his "Silver Star" strip. Issue has two pages of photos from the Southwestern Con 1969, a comic convention held in Texas, and a four page portfolio with artwork by Keith Fukumitsu, Dave Cockrum, Gary Kato, and Mike Chadwell.
