    Dan DeCarlo was the definitive Archie artist for nearly 50 years. He was born December 19, 1919 and passed away December 20, 2001 at the age of 82. Compiling much of his work, from his early years as an artist for the military, to his expansive career doing Archie, this book was edited and put together by Mary Smith, who was probably the most knowledgable fan of his work to date.
