Volume 1 - 1st printing. "Amelia Shadows and the New Head Ghost!" Story and art by Matthew Dow Smith. Amelia Shadows has never had what you might call a normal childhood. For one thing, her dads the most powerful dark magician in the world. And for another, she's spent her entire life in a house filled with ghosts and monsters and incredibly dangerous magical objects! As far as Amelia's concerned, her life's actually pretty cool. When Amelia and her cat, Clara, aren't having adventures or dealing with dimensional portals in the pantry, she's learning to be a dark magician, just like her dad, with the help of a ghost tutor named Gustave. You'd think a ghost tutor named Gustave would be pretty fun, but he's actually pretty boring. And if a boring ghost tutor wasn't bad enough, now Amelia's dad has hired another ghost to oversee things, Hans. Which wouldn't be that bad, except Hans has very strong opinions about how things should be around the house. This new head ghost has got to go, and Amelia may have a surprising ally… Magic and mischief and a life lesson or two from Matthew Dow Smith, creator of DCs Misfits of Magic and Mavericks The October Girl. Hardcover, 6-in. x 9-in., 104 pages, full color. Middle Grade Cover price $17.99.

Volume 3 - 1st printing. "Amelia Shadows and the Annoying Archenemy!" Story and art by Matthew Dow Smith. Any dark magician worth their weight in stolen fairy gold has at least one thing in common, and its not impeccable taste in cool cloaks and top hats — its making enemies. And as the most powerful dark magician in the entire world, Amelia Shadows father has made even more enemies than most. Good guys, bad guys, they all want to take Amelia's dad down for their one reason or another, which is all fun and games until one of them actually turns up at Amelia's house! There's just one problem… Amelia's Dad isn't home. So now Amelia has a superhero living on the couch, waiting for her dad to get back from an adventure in another dimension so he can bring him to justice, drinking all their milk, and just generally getting in the way. He needs to go. Now! But how do you get rid of a pretty much invulnerable guy who can bench press the moon? Amelia doesn't know. But with some help from her cat, Clara, and Gustave, her tutor, she's sure gonna try. Hardcover, 6-in. x 9-in., 104 pages, full color. Middle Grade Cover price $17.99.
