Stories, art and cover by Milton Caniff. Pacific Comics Club reprints Milton Caniffs classic Terry and the Pirates adventure comic strip of the 1930s, featuring Caniffs rich, dark drawing style and influential narratives. This collection contains the complete reprint (Sunday and dailies) of the Raven--Evermore saga from 1941. During their adventures in China, Pat and Terry were joined by pilot Dude Hennick and philanthropist Raven Sherman. After Raven was killed by the sinister Captain Judas, there was a national outcry from fans of the strip, proof that both Terry and the Pirates, and comic strips in general, had found a place in the hearts of newspaper readers. 12-in x 8-in. 56 pages, B&W.
