Jonah Jameson used to try and beat Spiderman with; During that battle Parker had to remove his costume in order to escape; While there he witnesses an argument between Smythe and a man named Raxton, which results in an accident turning Raxton into, the Molten Man; At first Raxton is confused when he walks out of the lab, but on the street he gets mad at a driver and smashes the car with his fists; Realizing his power Raxton decides he can be a super villain, but before he can do anything Spiderman comes in through his window and asks Raxton to turn himself in stating that so far no major crimes have been committed; A fight ensues; Peter graduates from high school. "Batman versus Eclipso," script by Bob Haney, art by Win Mortimer; Falling for rich playgirl Marcia Monroe, Batman gets caught up in a plot to steal the priceless emerald cat jewel stolen by the CYCLOPS organization; Framed for the theft of the jewel, Batman is arrested and jailed, giving the CYCLOPS organization and their operative the Queen Bee the opportunity to capture Eclipso just as he emerges from his host Bruce Gordon; While Eclipso is used to make a heist, Batman manages to break out of prison and with the help of Bruce Gordon, defeats Eclipso (shunting the villain back into Gordon's body) and toppling CYCLOPS' plan; Although Batman manages to identify that Marcia Monroe was really Queen Bee, she manages to get away, however Batman vows that one day she will have to answer to her crimes.
