However, before she can find anything of value, the repaired Cyberex appears and takes Carol hostage, taking her back to Lawson's lab; When Mar-Vell arrives as "Lawson" he learns about Carol's kidnap and goes after Cyberex and tracks the robot back to Lawson's lab; There Mar-Vell has his hands full when the Aakon attack party also arrives; However, when Mar-Vell realizes that the Cyberex is attracted to Lawson's scent on his note book, Mar-Vell writes a Kree code number on the cover of the book, and leaves it for the Aakon to get a hold of; When the Aakon think it's a coded Kree plan, they become targets of Cyberex who kills them to get a hold of the source of Lawson's scent; Mar-Vell then manages to destroy Cyberex once and for all with his Uni-Beam to smash open the robot's housing and break its repair mechanism. 36 pgs., full color. SHIELD arrives in force to arrest him for refusing a Federal court order to appear for questioning, and an open gun-battle erupts in the sky over Manhattan!; Fury thinks back to his earlier arrest, when Dugan refused to believe that Rickard was a spy, and then Laura Brown passed him a "sonic disintegrator ring" which he used to escape; Gabe interrupts someone trying to mug Fury, then lets him know The Super-Patriot is planning to strike at the U.N. An undercover agent for The Super-Patriot reports that Fury is still a fugitive, and therefore no threat; he then tracks Fury down and corners him, revealing he's really Jasper Sitwell in disguise! Later, with no knowledge of this, Fury wakes up back in his NY apartment, where Val has a morning Alka-Seltzer waiting for him; His new secretary, Agent Huff, contacts him to let him know the Munitions Department wants him for a briefing; But someone has sabotaged his apartment, and TWICE he barely escapes death!; Elsewhere, HYDRA agent Number 72 plots Fury's death; Fury skips breakfast, then is ambushed on the way to his car; in route to the Heli-Carrier, a fault develops in one of the anti-grav wheels of his Ferrari, causing him to bail out and parachute to land. Abruptly, Number 72 decides this would be the moment SHIELD would expect HYDRA to strike - and changes his plans!; Instead, SHIELD converges on Central Park, and corner Bulls-eye, who decides to shoot it out with them.
