Edgar Rice Burroughs Signed CheckPublished 1937Edgar Rice Burroughs Signed Check
This check, written to a book shop on April 27th, 1937, was signed by Edgar Rice Burroughs himself and comes with a letter of authenticity from JSA. The $3.61 ERB paid would be an $80 book haul today! Beneath his name is printed "Tarzana, California" rather than a specific address; that neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley (so called after he purchased a plot there in 1919 and subdivided it) is still sometimes colloquially known by that name.
