"The Tick-Tock Traps of the Time Commander," script by Bob Haney, pencils by Ramona Fradon, inks by Charles Paris; While attending a performance by John Starr, a modern day "Monte Cristo" claiming to be framed for a crime he did not commit, Bruce Wayne is approached by Starr after the performance in his guise of the Time Commander, using his time-shifting hour glass to reveal that he knows Wayne is really Batman and asks for Batman's help in clearing his name; However, this proves to be a ploy, and the Time Commander knocks out and ties up Batman and uses the Caped Crusaders resources to trick the Green Lantern into charging the Time Commander with power from his ring while disguised as Batman. "Batman versus Eclipso," script by Bob Haney, art by Win Mortimer; Falling for rich playgirl Marcia Monroe, Batman gets caught up in a plot to steal the priceless emerald cat jewel stolen by the CYCLOPS organization; Framed for the theft of the jewel, Batman is arrested and jailed, giving the CYCLOPS organization and their operative the Queen Bee the opportunity to capture Eclipso just as he emerges from his host Bruce Gordon; While Eclipso is used to make a heist, Batman manages to break out of prison and with the help of Bruce Gordon, defeats Eclipso (shunting the villain back into Gordon's body) and toppling CYCLOPS' plan; Although Batman manages to identify that Marcia Monroe was really Queen Bee, she manages to get away, however Batman vows that one day she will have to answer to her crimes.
