"A Fortune In Two Old Trunks" starts with the story of Louis Pellier, a Frenchman who introduced the French prune to California in 1856, then illustrates how prunes are grown, harvested, dried and packaged for good eating across the country. There are stats galore about "The Valuable Prune," including its top rank as a source of Vitamin A and crucial minerals, and a page about the California Prune and Apricot Growers Association and the farmer cooperative that grows Sunsweet Prunes. "Hearts and Foulers"; Betty has to stay after class when she is caught in class with a valentine from Archie and Veronica is jealous. "Time Will Tell"; Archie and Veronica damage Mr. Lodges car while backing it out of the garage; Mr. Lodge's punishment is that they have to do some chores like cleaning out the garage to work off the cost of repairs. "Lost Moss"; Mr. Lodge tries to get some Peat Moss to win a gardening bet and Archie tries to help but he thought Mr. Lodge was looking for a guy named Pete Morse. "Plane English"; Miss Grundy and Mr. Weatherbee catch Archie throwing a paper airplane in class; Mr. Weatherbee punishes him but he also wants Archie to teach him how to make one that can loop. "The Choke's on Me"; Mr. Weatherbee is having health problems and after seeing 20 doctors he can't get a diagnosis of what's wrong with him. "Vicious Circle"; Betty and Veronica play a prank on Archie while at the lake. "I Scream"; Betty and Veronica go to a health food place to eat because it's better for their figures. "Anything for a Friend"; Archie refused to date Jughead's cousin but Veronica encourages him to do so while she's away because Veronica is under the impression that she's ugly and it will keep Betty away from Archie. "Beauty and the Beast"; Archie keeps having dreams that he's a caged tiger. "Ticket Trouble"; Mr. Weatherbee gives Archie and Reggie two tickets to the big prize fight but they both try to scam the other out of their ticket so they can take a date. "Fight as a Fiddle"; Archie and Reggie put on makeup to make it look like they had a major fight over Veronica.
