Dot and Dash and the Lucky Jingle Piggie, Toylands Patriotic Rally (1942) is a World War II era patriotic promotional comic book that was distributed by Sears, Roebuck and Co. Published by Einson-Freeman Co., Long Island City, NY. While it is an advertisement for Sears, it does encourage the youngsters of the time to save their "nickles and dimes" to buy War Bonds. Note the back cover that tells what "war savings stamps would buy for Uncle Sam". 12 pages, full color, 8-in. x 10.75-in., all newsprint.

A rare copy of the famed Down Under Cafe and Restaurant in the RCA Building in Rockefeller Center dated Monday, July 20, 1942. This menu features all the insignia of rank of the United States Marine Corps in World War II. Inside marvel at the prices, for example a Meat Loaf with brown gravy and hash browns for .50! Inside also is a government ad: "For the United States Victory use one tablet or teaspoon of sugar PLEASE." The entire back page is the Drink List. 7-in. x 11-in., single sheet on cardstock folded vertically, partial color.

Lillums' parents argue over which college Lillums should attend; Realizing that Lillums will be leaving soon, all the boys fight to spend time with her. Lillums' parents go away on a trip, leaving Aunt Pruny to manage Lillums and a house-full of would-be Romeos. Tired of having Lillums' many boyfriends calling for her at the same time, Aunt Pruny sets up a schedule where each is to call at a specific time. The boys are still on the date schedule; Aunt Pruny meets Pop Jenks. Lillums is preparing to go away to college; Shadow is promoting a romance between Pop Jenks and Aunt Pruny. Lillums makes final arrangements before leaving for college. Everyone is depressed because Lillums has gone off to college. Indicia title is "ALLEY OOP, No. 3." Untitled stories starring Alley Oop. The women are running Moo; A stranger, Eeny from Jerooly, ingratiates herself with Queen Umpa; She plots to depose Umpa and declares herself dictator of Moo; She enlists Oop as an assistant. Evil dictator Eeny tries to trap Oop in his cave with a landslide. Foozy and Oop frighten dictator Eeny and her followers out of Moo, but three of Oop's old enemies show up. After a flood forces all the inhabitants of Moo to higher ground, Oola leads the refugees back to Moo and Guz is crowned King again. With Moo destroyed by the flood, King Guz decides to take the population to visit Sawalla for a while. Ex-dictator Eeny stumbles across "MooToo" and is chased away. The truce between Oop and his former enemies breaks and the latter three are banished from MooToo, leaving just Oop and Foozy. Scripts and art by V. T. Hamlin. 68 pages, full color.
