Slats and Becky finally get married, after years of false starts and missed opportunities. But then Bathless tells them that the "preacher" who married them is actually con man "Bless You" Bailey. Slats is lost in the woods and presumed dead, but is saved from attacking wolves by man-hating cowgirl Kate and her sister Jennie. The first issue of Mexican publisher La Prensa's long-running series, reprinting the adventures of Casper the Friendly Ghost in the Spanish language. The cover and perhaps the contents are reprinted from Casper the Friendly Ghost (1952 2nd Series Harvey) #15. At this point in the Harvey series, the character and his cast were still in their early stages of development, and regular contributors included Bill Hudson and Baby Huey creator Marty Taras. La Prensa was well-known in Central and South America for its Spanish-language reprints of U.S. comics, including other Harvey characters, Dick Tracy, The Spirit, and even the Silver Age Marvels. 32 pages, Full Color.
