Cover by Joe Beck. Stories and art by Bob McCay, Paul Gattuso, Joe Beck, Joey Cavallo and George Tuska. Humor and adventure comics from Chesler / Dynamic. Shadow-like superhero Black Dwarf and his band of assistants take on a mob boss who's profiting from WWII-era black markets. The most unusual story in this issue is a rare Little Nemo in Slumberland strip by Bob McCay, son of original Nemo artist Winsor McCay, in which a teenage Nemo is captured by gypsies and a gypsy woman tries to charm Nemo away from the Princess. Reporter/detective Lucky Coyne learns his old enemy Count Morphine has captured Terry and Kitty, in a story containing mild pre-Code bondage and torture.
