"The Gingerbread Cure"; Albert plays sick in order to make Pogo give him a freshly baked cake, but Howland and Churchy end up eating most of it; A cake batter fight breaks out in the end. "Never Give a Diving Board an Even Break"; Albert mistakes Pogo's and Porkypine's swampside seesaw for a diving board, spending four pages of the story fighting this board. "Ol' Willow the Whips"; On a moonlight boat ride, Albert and Pogo get lost and meet Howland and Willow, lost as well; In the dark the protagonists imagine many horrors. "Mother Goosery Rinds"; Pogo and Albert get tricked into babysitting Dee-licious; In order to entertain the child, they end up acting out several Mother Goose rhymes. Vol. 1 #1 - Summer 1950. Science Fantasy, which later became Impulse and then SF Impulse, was a UK published science-fiction and fantasy digest that began production in the Summer of 1950 and was distributed by Nova Publications as a companion to Nova's New Worlds. When Nova went out of business in early 1964, The title was changed to Impulse in early 1966, to little avail, and then changed once more to SF Impulse for the last few issues.
