Original, pre-Code romance stories from Canadian publisher Superior, often featuring a crime or mystery element and plentiful good-girl art. A female writer must start over after her husband's surprise divorce proceedings. A romance with a soldier inspires Miss Lane to move on from her showgirl past, which is portrayed with some lovely good-girl art. Good-girl art features in the next story as well, as sailor on leave Tex falls for beautiful Wilma the first time he sees her at the hotel pool. Some art may be the work of Robert Webb, art director of the Jerry Iger comics studio. Spicy cover by an unknown artist depicts a scandalous 1950s party.
