Stories and art by Carl Pfeufer and others. Silent-movie cowboy Tom Mix became a pop-culture icon with his 1940s radio show and this tie-in comic. In a three-part story, Tom gets wind of a letter that can prove a powerful bandit leader is in cahoots with the town mayor. But the bandit and his men will stop at nothing to get that letter. Tom must escape a crossfire aimed at the rooftop where he's hiding to get the goods on the bandit king.
