    The Knicker, March1931 issue, is a promotional comic book for a clothing company that sells knickers for boys. The story revolves around a boy named Tim who has counterparts in Buster Brown and the Superman Tim comics. The artist for this comic may have been associated with the Walt Disney company as well. The sub title, "Official for Pie Eaters," apparently refers to a now obscure, but one-time "hip," bit of slang. Eddie Cantor, equally obscure today, makes an appearance in a large photo on page ten and "becomes an Official Pie Eater!" The back cover features an ad for a boy's suit (just $13.75). 12 pages, black and white, mini comic-sized.
