#164, Jan. 7, 1977. This issue consists of two sections and 44 pages, making it the smallest issue in three-and-a-half years. The small size may have been due to a holiday season lull in ads, snowy weather in the Midwest, or a combination of the two. There is no significant editorial material of note. The superhero Christmas cover is by Randy Lance. Written by Russ Maheras
