    Spider-Man Unlimited (1993 1st Series) 4

"The Man Who Would Be Spider-Man!" Script by Tom DeFalco. Pencils by Ron Lim. Inks by Scott Hanna, Al Milgrom, and Keith Williams. Cover by Ron Lim and Jim Sanders III. While stopping a robbery in progress, the wondrous wall-crawler is unmasked! And in a remarkable coincidence, Lance Bannon happens to be nearby to snap a picture! Will Peter Parker's secret identity be exposed? Apparently not, because in the next day's newspaper, the Daily Bugle misidentifies the web-slinger as a guy named Phil. What?! And to make the situation even more bizarre, Phil holds a news conference to announce his new not-for-profit Spider-Man foundation…and line of retail products! The real wall-crawler is stunned by Phil's audacity and vows to get to the bottom of this mystery! And the operative word in this case is definitely "mystery" (or perhaps Mysterio)! Second Story: "Still Living in Fear" Script by Kurt Busiek. Pencils by Kevin West. Inks by Jimmy Palmiotti. Bloodshed (last seen in Web of Spider-Man 81) is still on the run from the crime syndicate that's trying to kill him! And once again the Spectacular Spider-Man will try to protect him from the bad guys and himself! Third Story: "Just a Joe Named Guy" Script by Carl Potts. Pencils by Dan Norton. Inks by Keith Williams. The web-slinger chases the Rhino and bumps into a powerful creature named Guy. (Notes: The title of the third story is a takeoff on the classic story in Amazing Spider-Man (1st series) 38. This issue is printed on glossy paper.) 64 pages Cover price $3.95.
