This issue reprinted the long-running comic strip Katzenjammer Kids. The original German Bart Simpson x2, the Kids are up to constant mischief, usually directed against the stern authority figures in their lives: their long-suffering Mama, Der Captain (a stranded sailor and their surrogate father), and the schools envoy, Der Inspector.
