Vintage monthly published magazine with a focus on the film industry as a whole. First published in November of 1930, publication continued through the late 1970s. Priding itself as a source for exclusive behind the scenes stories about filmmaking, Silver Screen also contained a fair amount of articles about celebrities, their relationships, the latest in fashion, and film reviews. Cover price $0.15.

United's anthology featured reprints of early comic strips, including Ella Cinders, Captain and the Kids and Nancy. Ella Cinders learns that her new neighbors the Doodins are trigger-happy hillbillies, known back home as "the Feudin' Doodins." But what she doesn't know is that the whole thing is faked by "Lease Breakers, Inc." to clear the street of residents. The Kids create masks of the Captain and Inspector that give Mama the heebie-jeebies. A incredibly rare issue in any grade. Only two have been CGC graded, a 7.5 & a 7.0. GPA lists the 7.0 as having sold in 2016, but no sales since, and eBay has reported no raw sales in recent years, a further indication of the incredible scarcity represented here.
