First printing. This first printing is the only printing that has an ad for Gobbledygook #1 & 2. Origin and 1st appearance of the Turtles and Splinter. Shredder appearance. According to Overstreet, the first printing is the only printing that has an ad for Gobbledygook #1 & 2. The four later printings of #1 can be identified as such by the printing information on the inside front cover. Counterfeit copies exist for this issue, most of which have a half inch wide white streak or scratch marks across the center of the back cover, as well as a bluish black instead of a deep black on the black part of the cover. "Reinforcements from Cybertron" - These inserts were included in the first series of Transformers toys. This particular insert featured a mail order offer for new Transformers toys. Toys like Powersdasher, Omnibots, and Time Warrior. These were little known Transformers that could only be obtained through this offer. You would save up "Robot Points" and together with a little cash you could send away for these special items. For the collector just missing that last piece. NOTE: This insert is collecting purposes only. The mail order offer is long since expired.
