Written by Jose-Luis Bocquet. Art and cover by Catel Muller.
In 1895 the Lumière brothers invented the cinematograph. Less than a year later, 23-year-old Alice Guy, the first female filmmaker in cinema history, made The Cabbage Fairy, a 60-second movie, for Léon Gaumont, and would go on to direct more than 300 films before 1922.
Her life is a shadow history of early cinema, the chronicle of an art form coming into its own. A free and independent woman who rubbed shoulders with masters such as Georges Méliès and the Lumières, she was the first to define the professions of screenwriter and producer. She directed the first feminist satire, then the first sword-and-sandal epic, before crossing the Atlantic in 1907 to the United States and becoming the first woman to found her own production company.
Guy died in 1969, excluded from the annals of film history.

1st printing. Story and art by Box Brown. Andre Roussimoff is known as both the lovable giant in The Princess Bride and a heroic pro-wrestling figure. He was a normal guy who'd been dealt an extraordinary hand in life. At his peak, he weighed 500 pounds and stood nearly seven and a half feet tall. But the huge stature that made his fame also signed his death warrant. Box Brown brings his great talents as a cartoonist and biographer to this phenomenal new graphic novel. Drawing from historical records about Andre's life as well as a wealth of anecdotes from his colleagues in the wrestling world, including Hulk Hogan, and his film co-stars, Brown has created in Andre the Giant, the first substantive biography of one of the twentieth century's most recognizable figures. At least, that's how the story goes. Suri loves monsters-studying their lore, telling stories about them (for a fee), and-she hopes-one day taming them. Unfortunately, no one takes an orphan street urchin who travels with a merchant camp very seriously. But Suri's self-confidence, cleverness, and ambition serve her well when a mysterious new wagon joins her camp-holding something very big, very loud, and very monstrous.

Story and art by Box Brown.
In Child Star, bestselling author Box Brown creates a biography of Owen Eugene, a fictional 1980s child actor.
Owen had it all: a hit sitcom on prime time, a Saturday morning cartoon, and a memoir on the bestseller list. The secret to his success was his talent for improvisation... and his small size. But Hollywood ate him alive. On screen he made the whole world laugh, even as his life fell apart behind the scenes. Inspired by real-life child stars, Box Brown created Owen Eugene, a composite character whose tragic life is an amalgam of 1980s pop culture.
In this fictional documentary-style graphic novel, we see how growing up in the spotlight robs young actors of a true childhood.
