This issue reprints the strips from January 14, 1949 - April 5, 1949, featuring the Sleet story arc. Police informant Sleet attacks Sam Catchem and escapes, leaving him unconscious in the snow. While the Crimestoppers search for Sam, Tracy tracks Sleet and her mother. But Sleet makes the mistake of hiding out in the home of Mrs. India, who has a pet gorilla.
