Abraham Lincoln, 2nd Printing, Painted Cover. (HRN 154). Abraham Lincoln grew up on the rough, brawling American frontier. He fought, wrestled and swung an ax as well as any man. He went to school less than a year in all his life. Yet the unschooled boy of the log cabin grew up to be one of the wisest and greatest of Presidents. During the dark hours of the Civil War, he saved the union from destruction.
