Collects the complete daily strips from Oct. 20, 1963 to Jan. 3, 1965. Valiant's son Arn joins a mission to investigate a Saxon war party, and to find out more, he joins the war party itself as a ruse. Wanting Aleta for himself, Count Brecey tries to have Val killed in tournament, and when that fails, he just kidnaps her. Valiant and Arn are enlisted as warrior-diplomats when King Arthur needs to unite the various kingdoms to repel a Saxon invasion. Valiant returns home to Thule just in time to defend it from another invasion. Saxons in the Vale; Another Abduction; The Battle of Badon Hill; The Matchmakers; Guerilla War in Thule.
