Clyde Beatty takes his captured enemy Slay along, as they escape the spider-god tribe and head to the mysterious mountain. Ellery Queen investigates the murder of a gangster, but he doesn't think it's a mob hit. The gorilla cover is pretty bizarre, even for a gorilla cover.
