When he goes to get it, he runs into old flame Glittering Goldie, who still owes him a thousand bucks. This Carl Barks story was adapted into an episode of the beloved 1980s Disney cartoon show "Duck Tales." This version has some pages restored that were absent from the original 1952 printing, and three panels added by artist Daan Jippes. Donald pulls a prank on Scrooge involving a fake announcement that fish are the new currency for the nation. Back to the Klondike; Something Fishy Here.
