The Mayor tells the fire department to let a fire burn, since it's a billboard for his opponent in the upcoming election. Smokey's son Earl makes a "Keep Off" sign for the wet cement sidewalks. Smokey sends Earl to the paint store to get some paint. Smokey thinks there's a strange man in his bathtub. Smokey bought a winter overcoat last spring at a cheap price, but the moths got to it. Smokey visits Fenwick Flooky's firehouse. An auto mechanic hides woodpeckers under the hood so drivers will think their engines are knocking. Smokey warns a neighbor to shovel his walk because a cop is writing tickets. Scripts and art by Bill Holman. Mr. Bailey and the police set a trap for Steve Smart. Mr. Bailey learns ventriloquism; Later he and Smitty go to the North Woods on a fishing trip. Mr. Bailey spends his vacation trying to catch the huge fish "Old Fighter. Mr. Bailey finally hooks "Old Fighter," but it's a question of who's caught who. Marcella forgets to take Wrinkles, the Camel with the Wrinkled Knees, inside when she has to go to town with her mother; Nathan Gnome takes Wrinkles to the "Land of Lost Toys" and the Raggedys have to rescue him. Mr. and Mrs. Muskrat throw a Flapjack Party for all the wildwoods folk and have the Raggedys make the flapjacks. Minkie pulls several tricks to try to ruin the party. After stepping through a magic mirror, the Raggedys are given a tour of Elfland by Eddie Elf. Minkie captures Mrs. Fox in a cage and steals her groceries. Raggedy Ann fixes Wrinkles' hump by filling it with beans. The Raggedys bring a fire engine to put out the fire in Sunny Bunny's house.
