"Transformations in Pain!" Guest starring Daredevil. Written by Howard Mackie. Art by Bret Blevins and Fred Fredericks. The demonic succubus visits Henry Bronson, sleeping in a Hell's Kitchen homeless shelter, feeding off his life force as a prelude to targeting ghost rider. His dying agonies wake the next beds resident, Calvin Zabo, who rants about killing everyone when he becomes Mr. Hyde again. Meanwhile, in Caretaker's basement Dan and Caretaker watch Suicide's skeleton healing. Dan leaves to head home, but is attacked outside by Succubus; transforming into Ghost Rider, he drives her off, then changes back to Dan. No longer sure what triggers his changes, or who attacked him, and suspecting Caretaker might know, he turns to go back inside, but the basement doorway has vanished. At that moment a weakened Succubus tries to drain a derelict outside the shelter, but Daredevil intervenes. She flees inside, choosing to feed off the Zabo instead, inadvertently triggering his change in to Hyde, and he throws her out the window. Witnessing this, Daredevil scoops up the stunt Succubus and flees, with Hyde pursuing. Dan spots the running battle, but it struck by flying debris, and when Hyde turns his attention towards the fallen biker, Daredevil drop Succubus to defend Dan. As Hyde and Daredevil clash, Succubus attacks Dan, who changes back and forth to Ghost Rider as she drains him. Leaping away from Hyde, Daredevil targets Succubus, and when Hyde tries to attack them both, Ghost Rider intercepts; unfazed by Hyde's blows, Ghost Rider ends the bout with his penance stare, then becomes Dan again. Daredevil stuns Succubus, and helps Dan escape as the police arrive. As the cops close in, Succubus drains Hyde's energy, insisting that Ghost Rider must belong to her master, Nightmare. 32 pages, FC. Cover price $1.75.

"Blood Obligations!" Written by Howard Mackie. Art by Mike Manley. Ghost Rider defeats two carjackers who pursue their victims into Cypress Hill Cemetery. Meanwhile, the FBI clears the corpses out of the Firm's hospital headquarters and break through a steel door there, inadvertently releasing the Scarecrow and others whom the Firm held captive. Seeking to heal his wounds and search his soul, Ghost Rider visits Barbara Ketch's grave and encounters Stacy Dolan, who tries to arrest him but hesitates when he alludes to their mutual connection to the Ketches. She then receives a call for assistance from the police officers fighting Scarecrow and she lets Ghost Rider go to their aid. Armed with a new pitchfork supplied by the Firm, Scarecrow battles Ghost Rider but is shot by Dolan and escapes. When her father and police backup arrived, Dolan hides Ghost Rider to prevent his arrest. Dolan and Ghost Rider part ways, hoping that their respective duties will not force him into conflict. 32 pages, FC. Midnight Massacre: Part 2 of 5 – "Hunters!" Guest-starring Frank Drake. Written by Howard Mackie. Art by Ron Garney and Christopher Ivy. Story continued from Nightstalkers (1992) # 10. Empowered by the Darkhold, Blade becomes Switchblade and begins a quest to eliminate all supernatural entities, killing Hannibal King and Johnny Blaze, and absorbing their supernatural abilities. In the Bronx, Switchblade slays a witch, while elsewhere, Demogoblin runs down a sorcerer who barters for his life by revealing the Demogorge has possessed Blade. Demogoblin tortures him for more information before killing him, the sorcerer's screams drawing Drake and Ghost Rider's attention. Coveting the Demogorge's power, Demogoblin escapes, but Drake adjusts his gun Linda to detect supernatural energies, allowing them to track Blade. At a club, Switchblade tracks down Seer, but before he can kill her Demogoblin appears to propose an alliance. Switchblade only wants to kill him, but the distraction allows Drake and Ghost Rider to catch up to them. Still hoping to broker a deal, Demogoblin takes Switchblade and Seer to the World Trade Center, with Ghost Rider close behind. Switchblade stabs both Ghost Rider and Demogoblin, slaying the latter. Seer teleports a way to warn the others of the Blood while Switchblade overpowers Ghost Rider; Drake arrives in time to rescue him, and, aware they cannot best Switchblade alone, sends Ghost Rider away to recruit allies.
