By Edgar Rice Burroughs. Cover and Frontispiece by Joe Jusko. Foreword by Joe R Lansdale. Rear Jacket Photo: Edgar Rice Burroughs at his Tarzana Ranch (undated).
David Innes was a captive in Pellucidar, the strange world within a world that lies under the Earth's crust. To rescue him, Tarzan comes into that savage, prehistoric land at the head of an expedition equipped with every modern device. But Pellucidar is not like the jungles the ape-man knows.
Here are saber-toothed tigers and every savage creature from the beginning of time. Here the horizon curves back on itself and the sun hangs always in the middle of the sky. And now, for the first time, Tarzan is hopelessly lost in a land teeming with unknown, gigantic killers... where even time has no meaning!

1st printing. Story and art by Corey Egbert. Inspired by true events, this haunting yet hopeful YA graphic novel weaves together family dynamics, mental illness, and religion-perfect for fans of Hey, Kiddo. It makes me wonder . . . how much of my childhood was real. Corey's mom has always made him feel safe. Especially after his parents' divorce, and the dreaded visitations with his dad begin. But as Corey grows older, he can't ignore his mother's increasingly wild accusations. Her insistence that God has appointed Corey as his sister's protector. Her declaration that Corey's father is the devil. Soon, she whisks Corey and his sister away from their home and into the boiling Nevada desert. There, they struggle to survive with little food and the police on their trail. Meanwhile, under the night sky, Corey is visited by a flickering ghost, a girl who urges him to fight for a different world-one outside of his mother's spoon-fed tales, one Corey must find before it's too late. Drawing inspiration from his own upbringing in the Mormon church, and inspired by his own life experiences, Corey Egbert welcomes readers on an emotionally stirring, surreal journey into the liminal spaces between imagination and memory, faith and truth. Hardcover, 6-in. x 81/2-in., 336 pages, PC. Cover price $25.99.
