Volume 2 - 1st printing. "1970-1972!" Story and art by Harry Lindfield. Cover by Carlos Pino and Vicente Alcazar. This second volume fills in another major gap in Star Trek lore, courtesy of these never-before reprinted comics that originally appeared in weekly British magazines in the early 1970s. There's much to love about these wonky, way-out writings and their atypical artwork. These oft-forgotten Star Trek tales represent a different era. They're lost gems with many facets and a unique perspective, an eccentric corner of Star Trek history unlike any other. These are the U.K. voyages of the starship Enterprise-and, now, at last, fans everywhere can experience them. As a special bonus, Rich Handley provides the first half of a detailed encyclopedia of all things Star Trek from these British comics. Exploring the minutiae is half the fun of enjoying a franchise, and when it comes to Trek, there's no end of trivia to devour! Hardcover, 9-in. x 11-in., 240 pages, PC/PB&W. Cover price $49.99.

Volume 2 - 1st printing. "January 1942-July 1943!" Collects Stories from Prize Comics (1940-1948) #18-32. Cover by Ben Thompson. Doug Danville was a wealthy New York playboy who decided to fight crime. He put on a costume and began his career as K the Unknown. He later changed his costume and became the Black Owl! Doug got involved with Terry Dane, a private investigator and true to comic-book tradition, she greatly admired the Black Owl and belittled Doug Danville for being useless. With a whole host of enemies including Chief Skullface, the Fox, Frankenstein, Funnibone, the Green Mummy, the Tiger Lady, the Laughing Head and the Terrible Midge, among others, the Black Owl had plenty to keep him busy and probably had to do overtime during the day time hours! This mega compilation of the essential Richie collects his earliest and most substantial stories for the first time ever. Volume 2 - 1st printing. "1989-1992!" Story and art by Bobby London. When we say "complete," we mean COMPLETE! Bobby London's take on the Sailor Man has often been overshadowed by his being fired from the strip in 1992, ostensibly for presenting a storyline that was an allegory about abortion. King Features Syndicate pulled the final three weeks of strips and daily newspapers began running reprints. Story over in mid-stream. Now, 22 years later, thanks to the kind cooperation of the good folks at King Features, those three weeks will be included in this second volume of our series. But wait... that's not all! Turns out that Bobby London produced an additional six weeks of strips beyond the three that were pulled from syndication! Hardcover, 340 pages, B&W. Cover price $39.99.
