The Food of the Gods, 3rd Printing, Painted Cover. (HRN 166, with 6/67 date). Mr. Bensington and Professor Redwood invented it between them and in their first enthusiasm called it the Food of the Gods. It was in every way a most remarkable substance, for it was to produce a new race of men. Normal people were frightened to discover wasps as big a barn owls, creeping plants as tall as pine trees and rats as big as horses. But the serious trouble began with the children raised on the Food of the Gods. Cover price $0.15.

Tigers and Traitors, 3rd Printing, Painted Cover. Art by Norman Nodel. (HRN 167, with 11/66 date). A record of two thousand pounds was posted by the British for the capture of Nana Sahib, one of the prime movers of the Sepoy Revolt of 1857 in India. Colonel Munro, who had lost his wife in the revolt, hated Nana Sahib with a deadly passion. Then a chance to invitation to join a hunting party touring the north of India brought Colonel Munro face to face with his mortal enemy. Cover price $0.15.

Westward Ho!, 3rd Printing, Classics Comics. Queen's Home News edition, Page 56 has "Three Men Named Smith" text feature rather than the usual coming-next-issue ad). Ad for Classic Comics "Gift Boxes" on back cover. There were 4 boxes offered, A-D, each with 5 different Classic Comics for just 50c. We wonder if any of these boxed sets survived. If so, they must be VERY rare. NOTE: Comic may appear to have three pages missing, but if the "cut" looks straight and clean, the pages are not missing (you can tell by the story line, which is not broken). The comic was printed this way during wartime to minimize paper usage. (HRN 21).
