Many times since both the web-slinger and his fans have wondered how different Peter Parker's life would have turned out if Gwen had lived. In this issue the Watcher presents an alternate reality in which Spider-Man saves Gwen. After the Green Goblin knocks Gwen off the bridge, the wall-crawler jumps from the support column to catch her with his arms instead of his webbing! And in spectacular fashion, Spider-Man grabs his girlfriend before they hit the water! Upon returning to safe ground, Peter proposes... and Gwen accepts!
