An "Animated Novelty" book (or "pop-up book" in modern terminology) from Fawcett, featuring Hoppy The Marvel Bunny. The plot is similar to Hoppy's comics: Millie doesn't suspect that mild-mannered Hoppy is actually Marvel Bunny. He uses his power word "Shazam" to transform when they go on an adventure into Elfland. But the text-format story and art style is similar to Grace Drayton or classic children's-book illustrators of the past. An offbeat item for the Shazam fan. Hardcover (Spiral Bound), 8-in. x 8-in., 28 pages, Full Color.

In TASCHEN's first volume of one of the most expansive illustrated publications on Disney animation, some 1,500 images and essays by eminent Disney experts take us to the beating heart of the studio's "Golden Age of Animation."
This landmark book traces Disney's complete animation journey from the silent film era, through his first full-length feature Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) and the pioneering artistic experiment Fantasia (1940), right up to his last masterpieces Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree (1966) and The Jungle Book (1967).
With extensive research conducted through the historical collections of the Walt Disney Company, as well as private collections, editor Daniel Kothenschulte curates some of the most precious concept paintings and storyboards to reveal just how these animation masterpieces came to life. Throughout, contributions from leading Disney specialists detail the evolution of each film.

1st printing. By George "The Animal" Steele and Jim Evans. Foreword by Cowboy Bill Watts. A stand-out character in an entertainment industry where persona is everything, George The Animal Steele shares how he balanced his real life as Jim Myers, a highly respected high school teacher and coach, with the green tongued, hairy backed, turnbuckle eating wrestling icon he was in the ring. The memoir delves into the golden era of wrestling in the 1970s and 1980s and his entry into the World Wrestling Federation where he earned a spot in professional wrestling history despite only speaking in animal-like grunts. In reality, the educated man that overcame his struggles with dyslexia and Crohns Disease was a father and an inspiration to many of his students and players, and the dichotomous personalities that marked this much-loved mans life are explored in his own words. The book is filled with nostalgic and humorous anecdotes about the whirlwind life of wrestling alongside such notables as Hulk Hogan and Bruno Sammartino, both in and out of the ring. Hardcover, 6-in. x 9-in., 224 pages, Text. Cover price $24.95.
