Story and art by Julia Wertz.
In 2004, Julia Wertz began a series of funny, irreverent autobiographical comics she called "The Fart Party." After posting these comics online at fartparty.org to acclaim and controversy. She eventually started collecting these comics as self-published minis which found their way to Atomic Books in Baltimore who thought they ought to be collected into a proper book so as to garner Julia more laughs and hate mail.
As these things go, the first volume was so successful, there was a second volume. Both are out of print, but Museum of Mistakes collects them into one book, plus numerous pages of Julia's early comic work, unpublished and/or previously uncollected comics, short stories, illustrations, process pages, hate mail, sketchbook pages, tear stains, and more.

Canadian edition with $1.35 cover price. Aug 1988. His years in the jungle have taught him how to survive anywhere...and now the world's smallest super-hero, the Atom, is back in an ongoing series! Ray Palmer returns to the United States, leaving behind the South American jungle civilization and its people he had embraced in the Sword of the Atom mini-series. But the America he comes home to is different and it's all he can do to readjust to the changes. And that's to say nothing of the physical changes the Atom has undergone since he's been gone. It's a whole new life of solid super-hero action for the Atom, brought to you by writer Roger Stern, penciller Dwayne Turner and inker Keith (Kez) Wilson. But before you step into the Atom's bold new future, you might want to take a look into his past, beginning as one of the premier super-heroes of comics' Silver Age - the story is told in the pages of Secret Origins (1986-1990 2nd Series) #29, written and drawn by Power of the Atom regulars Stern, Turner and Wilson. Cover price $1.35.

But this four-issue volume of Ace's Atomic War! comic doesn't focus on the gentle global warming path to oblivion we're all of us currently taking, but rather the big "Hoo Boy, here comes the End of Everything!" approach we all of us figured would be the way humankind would hand in its chips, namely with mushroom clouds aplenty, bombs the size of city blocks, and floods to make Noah's problem look like he left a faucet running in the bathroom.

1st printing. Written by Michael Gallagher. art and cover by Jonathan Fetter-Vorm. In Trinity, illustrator Jonathan Fetter-Vorm tells the history of the race to build - and the decision to drop - the first atomic bomb, and the ethical debates that followed. He begins with early research in Europe, which accelerated rapidly as World War II approached. The action shifts to Los Alamos, and Fetter-Vorm showcases the strong personalities of the physicists under the supervision of "Manhattan Project" leader, J. Robert Oppenheimer. When the first bomb finally went off at a test site code-named "Trinity", the world was irreversibly thrust into a new and far more dangerous age. Richly illustrated and deeply researched, Trinity is dramatic, informative, and thought-provoking. Hardcover, 6-in. x 9-in., 160 pages, B&W. Cover price $22.00.
