Dell presents new adventures of legendary tough cop Dick Tracy and his rogues gallery of freakish enemies. Tracy must act fast to save Pat from the killer known as Jukebox. The original, rarely reprinted story is in the style of Chester Gould, but the actual artists are unknown. Also, Dick Tracy's Rogue's Gallery featuring Itchy Oliver, a text story, a solve-it-yourself mystery, and a Sparkle Plenty humor strip. This issue reprints the strips from April 8 - June 4, 1951. Tracy pulls Sam out of a death-trap, and tracks Empty Williams down in an abandoned tree house. Tess gives birth to Bonnie Braids. Also featuring a reprint of an ad for a Bonny Braids doll, manufactured by Ideal in 1951. 32 pages, B&W. Cover price $2.00.

The adventures of this iconic square-jawed detective fighting a menagerie of grotesque villains remains one of the highlights in the history, of not just comics, but crime fiction in general. This series is ripe to introduce the strip to crime prose readers who haven't previously ventured into comics. Tracy is on the trail of the aptly named Mr. Bribery and his equally grotesque sister, Ugly Christine, in a story that also features a substance-abusing witch doctor and a shelf of shrunken heads. Meanwhile, newlyweds Junior and Moon Maid enter the story, and Dick Tracy's troubles are compounded when he comes face to face with master criminal Haf-and-Haf, one side of whose face is hideously disfigured. Included are all strips from December 27, 1965 to July 2, 1967.
