This issue features a sequel to Dell's Santa and the Angel, which first appeared in Four Color (1942-1962 Dell 2nd Series) #128 and was reprinted in Four Color #259. In that story, Santa helps a wayward baby angel make his way back to Heaven on Christmas. When Santa and Winkie the Angel get to Heaven, they find that Winkie's squirrel friend has stowed away on Santa's sleigh. So Winkie gets to be an apprentice Santa on the return trip to Earth.
