Stories and art by Leonard Starr and Victor Pazmiño. During the 1940s, military hero Don Winslow was the star of a comic strip, a movie serial and a popular radio show in addition to this Fawcett comic. Don mounts a single-handed invasion of the Axis-occupied Philippines, or as the opening caption puts it, "Wherever there's work to be done... dangerous work... action-ful work... American work... there you'll find Don Winslow...!" Don tries to protect an American from Nazi assassins. Don leads a convoy of Navy ships to North Africa, facing a strange accident, a top Nazi spy, and opposing Axis ships on the way. Plus a PSA for US war bonds featuring Shazam, aka Captain Marvel. Some of these stories feature inks by future comic strip legend Leonard Starr.
