But, this graphically inventive cartoonist's best known creation is the stretchable and off-centered super hero known as Plastic Man. In this edition is collected some of Cole's most energetic and extraordinary work. Also included is an homage to Cole and his creation by Pulitzer Prize-winning writer and cartoonist Art Spiegelman and renowned graphic designer Chip Kidd. Softcover, 136 pages, full color. NOTE: Tragically, in 1958 Cole unexpectedly took his own life.
